Zur Person

Dr. Zofia Wóycicka ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Deutschen Historischen Institut und Assistenzprofessorin an der Soziologischen Fakultät der Universität Warschau, wo sie derzeit das Forschungsprojekt „Hilfe für Juden während des Zweiten Weltkriegs und die Entstehung einer transnationalen Erinnerung” des Nationalen Wissenschaftszentrums (NCN) finalisiert. Sie studierte Geschichte und Soziologie an der Universität Warschau und der Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena und promovierte 2008 an der Schule für Sozialwissenschaften der Polnischen Akademie der Wissenschaften und an der Universität Warschau. Wóycicka ist eine erfahrene Museumspraktikerin. Sie arbeitete als Pädagogin im Polin und als Ausstellungskuratorin im Haus der Europäischen Geschichte in Brüssel (2011-2015). Sie war Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Zentrum für Historische Forschung Berlin der Polnischen Akademie der Wissenschaften (2015-2019, wo sie eine Arbeitsgruppe des HORIZON2020-Projektes „Unsettling Remembering and Social Cohesion in Transnational Europe” (UNREST) koordinierte. In den Jahren 2019-2022 war sie Forscherin an DHI Warschau.
