A two-day workshop for scholars working on the history of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth to present and discuss original research on the history of violence, reflect on methodology, and explore recent developments in the field. Particular attention is paid to the history of commoners – urban population, peasants, merchants, and tradesmen.
