Our researcher Iza Mrzygłód was awarded the Marian Turski History Prize by the Polish magazine POLITYKA. She received the prize for her book “Uniwersytety w cieniu kryzysu. Nacjonalistyczna radykalizacja studentów Warszawy i Wiednia w okresie międzywojennym” (Universities in the Shadow of Crisis: The Nationalist Radicalization of Students in Warsaw and Vienna in the Interwar Period) in the category “Debuts in Academic and Popular Science Works.”

Jury member Jerzy Kochanowski wrote in the nomination statement: “This debut work is not only a mature academic work but also an important memento.”
