Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies

The library of the German Historical Institute in Warsaw provides its readers with access to the complete Fortunoff Archive – an invaluable collection of interviews recorded with witnesses and survivors of the Holocaust.
The archive currently contains over 4,400 testimonies, which together amount to over 12,000 hours of video recordings. The testimonies were created in collaboration with thirty-six affiliated projects in North America, South America, Europe and Israel, and each project has a duplicate set of locally recorded video recordings.
The entire collection is available in the reading room of the German Historical Institute in Warsaw.
